kraftwerk are cool but I've already lost my fanship a year
or a pair of them ago. i loved their 1999 mixes album most
of all for some reason. proudly ownin' pirate copies of 1975
autobahn, later radioactivitat/computerwelt on cd.. one good
song besides hits from these discs that I remember is
Etherwellen from Radioactivitat album. And once i had a Koto
remix of trans europa express on a tape, liked it a lot.

next you will listen to the man machine! and then trans
europe express

you should also check out their early stuff (kraftwerk 1 and
2 in particular) from the beginning of the 70's, to hear
what sort of background they came from. it's quite
experimental, and not all electronic. well ahead of it's
time. Ruckzuck is a favourite of mine from that period.

Kraftwerk are incredible. Computer World was my first
purchase from them, and i love Pocket Calculator with all my
heart.

They're live album is a really nice retrospective of their
work, but i can't help think that a huge part of their
appeal is the graphics they use when playing live.

i bought The Mix cos i loved pocket calculator, but hated it
cos alot of the album was redone, and i liked pocket
calculator for its cheapness and cool cheap sounds and
synths, so then i downloaded Computer World (because i can
not find the cd) and The Man Machine (because im cheap).
Those 2 albums are AWESOME.
