i'm trying to create on off switches for effects units in
my combinator devices. whenever i set a button to switch a
unit from on to bypass...it just switches off..any
suggestions on what i'm doing wrong?

i'm trying to just bypass the unit, not turn it off.

in reason 3, what does 'off' achieve that 'bypass' doesnt?

bypass routes the audio to the output un affected, off
doesn't route it from input to output,it just kills it.

I've never usedd ver3, and don't intend to, the more I use
reason the less I like it.

thecrimsonguard :
use automation for the switch then you can draw 0,1,2 states
representing on/off/bypass.
