Hello XLT computer smartasses!
i am currently trying to get some free space on my computer,
so i'm removing some programs.
however, i've come across these things called windows xp
hotfix. and theres loads of them in my add or remove
programs page.
what are they? what is their purpose? should i delete them?

first person to answer me with a good response that will
solve my problem will get a mix cd by me sent to their home
to give them an hour of good music/make them smile/clutter
their shelf etc.

Download a program called C Cleaner, it's awesome and will
help you in your spring clean

you could use the disk cleanup tool that comes with
windows.. or you could do a search for all files bigger
than, say, 10MB, and then sort the results by size, deleting
any you know you don't need.

Don't delete the swapfile though. I forget its name but it's
likely to be about ~370mb (although this size is
user-definable in the control panel)

Are you familiar with production? Because otherwise, I might
suggest you get a second harddrive.

If you are worried about one program taking up too much
space on your harddrive, I might consider the ammount of
size your wav-files might take up.

Seriously, dude. Hard drives are cheap. I bought a 200 gig
one for 80 dollars.

i'm a bit of a fuckin twat when it comes to using these
things, but that sounds like a fantastic option. could i
connect it via firewire or something? or would i have to
open up my computer and install it and shit?
