[UFO on TV]

Yep, on channel4 on Italian TV. It's pretty interesting
especially the music in the background (i.e. FSOL)
Nothing new anyway, they will not invade us (at least not
this year). Do you believe in UFO and E.T.?

I hope Mork exists, I can't forget when he met Fonzie...
hey!

\/\/.

I believe aliens are a conspiracy so the hidden world
government can enslave us all under the pretence of an
intergalactic invasion, yes ma'am. Programmes like this only
serve to enforce and creditabilitise the notion of alienage
in the febrile imaginations of the Earth Populace.

Apparently I am the first person on the Internet to use the
word "creditabilitise" - you saw it first, on XLT!

is this like when the aliens came to Earth in that film
"Signs" - you know, those aliens that dissipate almost
immediately when coming into contact with water and hence
decide to invade a planet that is for about 70% made up of
water. the idea of "evolution" was hitting those guys pretty
hard, all of a sudden.

von daniken is a media whore typical of todays nobodys,
desperate to cling on to a belief, derived from the
continuing failure of western religion. remember kids, don't
educate yourself if an easy answer is thrust in your face.

yep, stupid aliens... in sign i imagined little childs with
water gun who shooted and kill them. maybe they pissed
against alien and they died too...

Why would aliens come here, if there are aliens then there a
loads of aliens, if there's another planet with life there
must be billions of planets with life, they're not going to
single us out for a visit because we've got Travis,
religious intolerance, Burger King and Thorpe Park.

They were very good, actually, but I don't expect you, nor
anyone to like them. That's not a criticism, it's just, I
don't konw anyone who likes them. Only once I was in a pub
and "To earth with love" (not, sadly, directed toward the
XLT member, unless it was) and a table full of what appeared
to be teachers, all went "Whooo" in a "Ohh, our favourite
song" type way.

the words "came on the jukebox" need to slot, somewhere, in
the post above/below*

(*depending on your XLT settings)

I actually bought the "To Earth With Love" single when it
came out. At the time they were touted as the saviours of
British rock & roll in the music press, if I remember
correctly.

I quite liked them - kind of glam indie-rock stuff, but I
wasn't bowled over by their follow-up singles and I didn't
buy an album.

I remember talking to my 6th form tutor at the time in
school, and he'd actually been to Durham University with
Cliff Jones, the singer.
