Lately, I've found myself browsing their audio samples
every other week in search of something new. There is always
such a large selection of new and supposed good releases.
They always have good descriptions, but when I listen it's
nothing special.

Does anyone frequent boomkat and find their recommendations
any good? Tolystoyed, I'm looking in your direction...

Sorry if this topic is a bit shit, but I'm really looking
for some new music. Perhaps I'm a bit tired of music in
general...

ALSO Now Sampling: The Gasman - Grand Electric Palace of
Variety (So far, meh)

it's one of these stores i visit from time to time just for
their reviews and samples... along with aquarius records
(actually, i visit aquarius a lot... even though i never
ordered anything through them, because it takes $18 for
international shipping (not their fault i guess but it's
expensive)...)

I somethimes just type a random word in their search engine
and see what comes up. a good way to discover new things

I think Boomkat is an excellent shop, I have bought stuff I
had never heard of just by their recomendation, and they are
yet to dissapoint. The only problem I do have with them is
not updating the stock levels quickly enough, I buy
something mega, only to be told I cant have it a few days
later :(

i do that occasionally, it's a great way to discover
something new rather than just asking people for random
reccomendations
