there are some areas where the drums could be brought a bit
back in the mix, 'cos they're pretty loud even for this type
of stuff.

I finally finished downloading "updated" and it only took an
hour.

Beginning sounds like a selected ambient works 2 track sort
of. It's fairly entertaining. The drums sound like they were
created seperately then placed together with the melody
rather than being intended together as one sort of. At about
3:30 is the type of squarepusherish beats that stopped being
of much interest to me awhile back. I guess because they
require fast tempo to be on any interest whereas the fast
paced first 5 tracks on the RDJ album still sound wicked and
smooth at 1/2 the speed. All in all I liked the beginning
melody the best in this track.

sounds like the latest snares release (ross) in 8 bit.
the melodies etc. could be a bit more challenging.
try putting as much time in your melodies as you put time in
your drumprogramming.
