As many of you know next week I will be there to visit the
beautiful green Ireland.

5 questions

1] - What the weather like there in Dublin? How many °C?
Which dresses should I wear there in the day and night?
2] - Which are best pubs where eat and drink there in Dublin
(not too much expensives)?
3] - Which typical Irish food should I taste?
4] - Is there in Dublin some good record store where buy
good electronic music?
5] - How does one pint of beer cost there? One packet of
cigarettes? One cd?
6] - How many hours of car to drive from Dublin to Belfast?
7] - Do you think I will have lot of troubles to drive in
Ireland's street (on the left with steering wheel on the
right)? Wish me good luck...
8] - If is there some unforgettable place to visit... tell
me please.

THANKS

\/\/.

Thanks for you help.

\/\/.

Do you think I will have lot of troubles to drive in
Ireland's street (on the left with steering wheel on the
right)? Wish me good luck...

good luck!
it shouldn't be too tough, just don't ever panick or you
will surely make a mistake :) it happened to me, it's fun
though!

and have a nice vacation!

1] the weather is unpredictable. on a good day it's about
22C, a bad day it might be 15C with rain, or just overcast,
etc..

you should bring as many dresses as possible - italian men
in dresses get in many clubs for free. i would reccomend
ones which are flambuoyantly colourful and flowing. frocks
would be a good idea.

2] not my dept. drinking in dublin city is very very
expensive. most of my friends just buy cans from the off
license and drink at home.

3] ? Stew maybe? idunno

4] i don't buy music - but there are a few nice stores in
temple bar.

5] a pint in the city centre is, at cheapest, 4.90, most
expensive, ~ 8.90

10 cigs = 3.25
20 cigs = 6.30

6] i imagine about 3. lots of assholes on that road too, not
a nice one to drive - lots of tail-gating.

7] depends on how good a driver you are, how much experience
you have doing that. dublin's gridlocked anyways, so it
wouldn't be a good idea to plan on getting around in a car.
up to belfast you shouldn't have any problems.

8] ballymun flats, finglas, the oldbawn area of tallaght..
these are all beautiful picturesque areas in and around
dublin that you must see. lolllllz

coming from someone who grew up in wicklow, and has just
moved back there:

don't come down here :/

if you like nice scenery and walking, however, glendalough
is a popular one for tourists and it's quite stunning..

i've just grown to hate this county and its inhabitants..

ps - those places i listed in my "must see" answer, erm,
that's not serious. stay away from those areas :)

1) Variable. It was boiling when i was there last week.

2) Everywhere is that bit more expensive than it should be.
Dublin is the rip off capital of europe practically. I dunno
why this is, greed i think, but you know what cities are
like. Belfast is fine tho.

3) erm...Potoatoes?=]

4) There are as mentioned a few decent ones potted about
Temple Bar but Dublin is really the last place you should
want to go shopping. Nice for a walk about tho.

5) covered above

6) it takes about 2-3 hours to drive from dublin to
belfast....you can do it in much less depending on the time
of day, there is a direct motorway now made by the european
union.....but dublin can be jam packed and it's awful to
drive anyway as there is hardly any street signs and
directions. You can get the bus to belfast for as little as
7 euro for a single and that takes 3 hours, if you choose to
drive by car you have a number of tolls to pay on route also
but these are nominal. Avoid the train if money is an issue
as it's very expensive for what it is.

7) There is a good Dart train network, driving and parking
would just be a headache in my opinion.

8) Guiness Factory=] at the end of the tour you get a pint
in a bar that looks out over the top of dublin.

Make sure and buy a glasgow rangers top ( preferably the
orange one ) as this will go down really well in dublin. The
local song is called "the sash". They sing it in all the
pubs and they especially like it when foreigners start
singing it. Have a great time.
