yea i read it last night, i hadn't read it before. all i know is that irl, opto doesn't like the germans or the russians. at all. he also seems to dispise political correctness, as do i, but he has rather .. foreign .. manners in terms of articulating his views of people of other nationalities. i think this was more of a culture clash between myself and himself than anything else. i don't think he's necessarily racist though, i think that thread was meant to wind people up. |

I'm sure it was, I just find over-stereotyping ridiculous and reading opinionated, stubborn things like that annoys me. I tend to like people who are open-minded rather than those who have dead set unfounded views. |

You're right. I can't imagine someone sitting laughing at it. Most of the time with stuff like that it can be read in a light-hearted way and it's obvious it was meant jokingly but when it's that aggressive it's almost impossible to do that. |
