So this is what happened yesterday; I took off work one hour earlier, and went down to the park, only armed with one Budweiser.
I just wanted to chill, and with all my friends preparing for Roskilde, I wanted to take some time looking at the happy faces of the people in the park, who probly' also was on their way.
See, I never have been to Roskilde Festival, and I already labelled it as another one of those things in life, that I for sure would miss out on in life. I had no plan at all to join this craziness, so I was just chilling with my beer. 2 hours, and 5 beers later, I find myself talking to a (girl)friend of mine, who offers me a ticket for roughly €108. And I tell her that I'll give her word about the buy today. I'm then calling my boss, and surprisingly enough, he just says; "sure, go ahead and take 7 days off from work". I also called my mom (which, back in the 70's, was involved in one of the most muddy Roskilde Festivals of all time), and she also said "go ahead and do it".
I've been thinking and thinking ever since. This is totally crazy, but I can actually afford this due to my current economic situation. And somehow nothing seems to stop me.
I'm going to the Roskilde Festival...simple as that...for the first time in my life at the age of 24.
I'm gonna see Autechre live....I'm gonna be at a 24/7 high, and I'm already taking the trip tomorrow....fuck me...
Is there a Xltronic camp?
