I think the reason I dont like it is because the Italian language was originally concieved as poetry, a kind of poetic language that came from (latin?). Even looking at it, every word ends in a friggin vowel just so its easier to rhyme. I really dont like poetry. Or languages that are concieved to make rhyming easier. I'll get my coat. |

most of this "italian" stuff was just American marketing crap, the actual thing was probably made in Germany, on the topic of False advertisement I'd like to make a list of most hated "italian" comercials: Dolmio, Sauce made in S.Africa, Bottled in Belgium, sold in the Uk. Yeah, according to our tour guide she said it specifically concieved in a certain school somewhere in the area for poetry. It is pretty, but after 2 weeks of it i was like "okay, i get it". |

Its one thing if you grew up with it your whole life. But as an english speaker-for-life, its not a language I'd like to learn 'in depth'. I took a few Cantonese classes back in middle school and that seems way more interesting to me. |
