in the past few months, ive discovered the wonders that is
anti-con, and especially their former-mc dose one (such a
shame they started feuding and dose left the label). holy
shit is this guy ingenious. ive been listening to the
clouddead records as well as circle w/ boom bip near
constantly.

anybody got any suggestions of which of dose's projects i
should be check out next?

and what do you guys think of dose one and the whole
anti-con clan?

13&god
subtle
a lot of his solo stuff is good. his new album 'ha' is
wonderful.
greenthink .. 'blindfold' and 'it's not easy being green'
are good too.

i dunno. it's all pretty good.. i'd get 'ha' definatly
thought.

who did he feud with? Sole? i got the sense that there was
some degree of bad blood between Odd Nosdam and Why? but i
didn't think Dose was involved in any of that...

well there was 'badness' within clouddead because dose was
getting all the publicity for his career and odd and why?
wern't.. so they all said tenwould be the last clouddead
cd.. and they'd just do their own shit.

i thought it had more to do with Nosdam and Why? wanting to
take it in entirely different directions, musically...

Well, they certainly did bring it to the 'not working with
the annoying contribed emcee anymore' level. Thats the
direction I would be taking it too if he turned up in my
band.

if you are picking on Doseone as the bad apple of that bunch
then i'm gonna have to disagree with you

I remember really liking the cloudead album, but hating the
whiney voice that was all over it, but the music was so lush
and original that it was worth it. Then, under the
suggestion of some people I trusted, I followed their advice
and downloaded a couple doseone solo albums, and when I
listened to them I was like 'fuck! So doseone is the
annoying one! Keep away'

I couldn't delete the albums fast enough.

I guess that I am calling doseone out as the short leg of
the table, although I am more of an odd nosdam man myself.

i dig Odd Nosdam, and learned to love Doseone (and i mean
love... i love Circle)... i won't disavow Why?'s excellent
contributions to the original cLOUDDEAD album... but um
beyond that... i don't really want to talk about it, because
other people dig him and i just come off like a sourpuss...

subtle are playing live this summer, so i guess they're
carrying on without dax on stage. you can find out about
dax's progress and contribute here: DAX

there's a subtle 12" out soon on lex.

ah. dax. had forgotten his name, yes.

but really. a new 12". that's very interesting. i'll have to
keep an eye out. for their tour as well, because they were
amazing live.

they played here in salt lake at this shitty little venue,
kilby court. it's nice only because it's sooooooo small.
very very,/i> personal. and it was probably one of the
best shows i've ever seen. he's a very interesting guy, yes.
