It's probably old news, but nevertheless:

Just got back from remastering 76.14 and it has been a
mission to say the least. Its probably taken me and John
dent (Loud mastering) 3 days to get it sounding right and it
took me over a day to find all the right versions.
But i'm pleased or infact delighted to say it sounds alot
better than its ever sounded, mainly thanks to the amazing
new valve analogue to digital converter that Johns just
bought £6,000!!! Its the first time the cd master has come
close to the vinyl.
And we also discovered a amusing error on the cd, it turns
out that 76.14 was actually 76.17!!! and 9.39 is actually
9.37 on the original cd. So we have managed to correct the
9.39 error but it was impossible to make it 76.14. But we
managed to put a text file so when you load the cd it comes
up with 76.14
We remastered The Way and The Deep for a 12" and it was
sounding amazing, it has the same vibe as the original 12"
but its clearer and bigger sounding.
Cd 2 has All Remastered

1 The Groove (instrumental) - Global Communication
2 The Way - Global Communication
3 The Deep - Global Communication
4 Biosphere (Global Communication Rmx)
5 Incidental Harmony - Global Communication
6 Sublime Creation - Global Communication
7 Asprin - Sensorama - Global Communication Rmx

Cd 1 is 76.14 Remastered

There will be a Dbl vinyl of 76.14 and hopefully some of the
other tracks from cd 2 on 12"s.

Not sure on release date i will keep you posted. Its coming
out through sanctuary records. August/September ish??!!

"Incidental Harmony" is, I think, their shining moment.

Nice!

We need a reissue of the original too. My original has gone
all cloudy.

bought it today : )

it has a lovely packaging (a special jewel case with rounded
edges, in a cardboard sleeve that doesn't fully cover the
jewel case), and the sound is indeed excellent (i can't tell
how better it has become compared to the original
since i didn't have the original cd)... haven't listened to
cd2 yet. but i really like this 76:14 (which is still indeed
76:17 on my cd player by the way ^^).

the beginning of the fourth track sounds amazing on my
headphones...

sounds like i'm closely surrounded with really dark, stormy
clouds. °_°

I won this at a Warp newsletter contest :§D
Classic ambient album.
I really like that early 90s sound, it reminds me of popular
science, sci-fi and cheesy computer graphics.
