Just bought this (mac) only to find it runs like a tortoise
on my laptop. I was going to get a G5 until i found out
they're changing the processor. Got the first one instead to
kill some time.

Im assuming sims 2 kicks the shit out of sims 1 though?

I like computergames a lot, but the whole Sims-thing I just
do not get.

I don't get it! I don't!

the one time i did play it i had around 10 people in the one
house and it got very boring so i brought them out into the
garden and made a fence around the ones i though were right
bastards and left them to die like some sort of free range
chicken suffering from malnutrition

its really diferent from sims 1.
the best on sims 1 is that it was a ground-breaking game,
but it looks boring to me today.
so, the sims 2 is not that funny, but if youre a maxis
superfan youll like it. its just a 2oo5 graphics version of
the same game.

It disgusts me the way they keep ripping money out of people
who like this game. I bought the original sims when it first
came out but now there's all sorts of crap expansion packs
such as Holiday and House Party which cost as much as the
originally game!

it makes me want to make a hundred copys and give them away
for free. Fight the Sim Maker bastards!

if you haven't already, you could read Something Awful's
"A Week in the Life of The Sims 2".

No, it's very poorly made. The 1st one is better.

While Marduk mashed his hideous proboscis against her
lips I heard a strange noise and scrolled down to the
bathroom.

Its fun to try to establish the best possible daily routine
so that your sim's needs are always satisfied. Time
management is the fun part of the gameplay for me.
It's also fun designing the best house layout and then
throwing a party to test it out.
