Once when I was 8 I was visiting relatives in Alberta who ran a farm. They had a small trailer out back where my cousins and I would hang out and listen to this cool new band called Guns N Roses and play cards. I was heading towards the trailer with only socks on and reached for the door handle.
BRZAAAAAAP!
I got launched back about five feet and landed on my ass, screaming like a little shit. It was a really weird experience because it wasn't painful but instead felt like I was being shaken really roughly. After I got back up, I found out that had I been standing in water I probably would have been dead.
Electrocution. Its whats for dinner.

youch.
yeah i have been electro-cute-d. yes a very strange feeling. in australia we use 240v not the pussy 110v of north america.
but ive been told its the amps or something that you have to look out for.
but anyway.. i was about 13-14y.o. we had an oil column heater. one of those ones on wheels that heats up the oil inside. lol and when you first turn them on it sounds like you are fry'n hot chips..
one of the lights under the switch was not working so i stupidly decided to take the cover of the switch and stick my finger in there to try and wiggle some life back into the lightbulb.. and.. Zappo!!..
i was sitting down on the carpet next to the heater. i remember kinda bouncing a bit.. and after it happened the joints in my arm hurt for a while.. but yeah.. guess i was lucky not much happend, thou it was quite a shock..
all in all.. respect ecectricity kids.. and remember. "just one flash and you could be ash!"

No I Have Never Been Electrocuted Except If You Count That One Time When I Purposely Touched An Electric Wire Fence Or Whatever It's Called That Was Used To Keep Cattle In Place. It Hurt Like A Bitch.

electric fence once
otherwise there's this great drinking game where you hold each your handle-ish thing and have to press a button at the right time. last one to press gets a shock and has to takee a shot... loose once, loose forever!

yes, once i rested my hand on an electric fence (it was dark, and I was going to place my hand on the wooden fence, but there was a small electric wire hovering over the top that I didn't see). it made my heart jump i guess.

I heard with high voltage mostly, it doesn't shock and throw you back. Instead it sucks you in which makes sense I guess since you're completing the electric circuit. It glues you to it and keeps electrifying you.

I got electrocuted trying to put a record player back together, I got a direct line of 240 volts, took me about 5 seconds to throw away what I was holding onto, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't move my muscles, I was shaking involunteraly for a while afterwards, it didn't really freak me out all that much just because it happened far too quick for me to get a chance to get freaked out by it,
I don't recommend it, 2 out of 10

yeah 4 times. I still can't believe it can kill.
The only time I can't remember is when I was about 3 years and I was playing with a metal drill. My dad was repairing some stuff and I put the metal drill into electric point hole behind his back.
My dad told me that he heard a loud scream and in a reflex he kicked me away from the electric point.
I still think that made me a bit immune for getting electrocuted.

Yeah, I was in Ireland at my mate's relative's house. We were in one of their fields and this scary looking angry bull was staring at us and then started chasing after us. We obviously ran and reached a wire fence. I started climbing over is as my friend walked out of the gate I hadn't seen.. The fence was electric. Hurt quite a lot!
