It was probably a mistake or something. Whoever made it just
repost it and whatever with teh righg bahahalallastuff

NHL can't get rid of the bluelines, but the red line looks
like it's history. I don't know how I feel about this, only
time will tell. College hockey and Euro hockey doesn't have
red lines, and sometimes it makes the games even tighter and
more restrained.

The Buffalo Sabres proposed to change the ice a pretty dark
blue and the blue lines orange. Fugly.

matt barneby.

all the proposed rule changes are fucking stupid... if they
would just start calling hooks, slashes, holding, and
cross-checks again (and not just when a guy gets knocked to
the ice), the game would be fine...

I want more fights and more aggressive dickwad tough guys to
be honest

i definitely don't have a problem with tough hockey... but
there's a big difference between a guy stopping someone with
a hard clean check, and stopping someone by hooking them,
and riding them like a dogsled... players have gotten use to
being able to play lazy defence, and the league just sort of
let it go...

Lazy defense is darn right. You have to admit that is
sometimes causes a chuckle. "Riding them like a dogsled"
made me LOL pretty hard.

:D

But i agree with you on that aspect.

i just don't see why none of the pundits can see this
anymore... they had Jean Beliveau on his sports talk show,
and he laid it out plain and simple: stop letting players
use their stick as a weapon, make them use their body....

and yet still you get people making stupid suggestions like
widen the nets, and shit...

widen the nets? WTF?

The nets are so perfect (IMO) its crazy. I absolutely go
nuts for the top shelf shots ("WHERE MOTHER KEEPS THE
COOKIES!!!!!") everytime!

They do need changes though if they want it to survive.
Ratings were 1.2-1.6. I was so mad about this year. I was
pushing for the maple leafs and ottowa. Ottowa since like
their inception what was that... like '92?

i'm a Calgary boy, so naturally, that was as close as i've
ever followed hockey before maybe... certainly closer than
i've followed it in years... but it was sort of odd, cause
it wasn't like i jumped on the bandwagon at the end... i
followed them all year long, cause i was convinced they were
gonna make the playoffs finally, and then they just kept
winning and winning... damn, it's a shame they couldn't win
one more game, but still, i can't look back on any of that
without remembering how happy i was... good times...
