Just wanna discuss a few things about Daft Punk

The new album is OK-pretty good, although Make Love is the
best track they have written yet.

Discovery is a great album and the best track is Voyager,
although Short Circuit and Aerodynamic are also excellent.

Homework is thier best album I feel. Revolution 909, Da
Funk, Burnin' , Indo Silver Club, Around the World and
Rolling and Scratchin' are all cracking tracks.

Are Daft Punk the front-runners in 'Techno'? I dunno, thats
why i'm asking...

tough to say what they are, but i wouldn't touch much of
what's on their new album with a 50 foot pole...

I'm sorry penexpers. but Discovery was Daft Punk's best
album.
How can you dismiss "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger"?

Their new album is far too repetitive. I like repitition but
there is hardly any evolution or progression at all. It is
like the tracks are in stasis. The breadth of most of the
tracks can be digested in the first 4 seconds of listening.

I listened the hell out off Robotcock and Human after all.
They were on repeat for days straight.

Yeah thats a great tune too.

I have listened to Discovery most out of the three albums,
but I just feel that Homework has more great tracks on it.

to tell the truth I haven't heard the new album, but judging
from their post-Discovery offerings I can't be to sure
they're going to beat Discovery or "Harder, Better, Faster,
Stronger"

Daft Punk is quality minimal house. Dont let the hater's
fool you. Its brilliant in a euro-trashy crap kind of way.

Daft punk is supposed to be repetetive. They lost a lot of
their fans with the first two albums because they were known
for being extremely repetetive, and their was too much
variation.

it's about french house and acid movement there, not about
minimal.

the new album is nice, but not really enough tracks. and
'robot rock' and 'human after all' are total pop shite.

anyone else think Make Love is utterly gorgeous?

make luv is indeed a really great track, whilst I also like
Digital Love although I'm sure I'm in a minority of liking
that one...

Robot Rock is a good tune but is outrageously repetitive,
barely changes at all. It's a shame because it could have
been mixed so much better.

IMHO Daft Punk are not really techno, more sort of
floorfiller dance along with the likes of Modjo and
Stardust.
