wow...

i just watched - japanese top twenty on viva. i have to say
that i'm kinda stunned!

really good music, very well produced videos and great
artists! i had to search slsk later a bit to find some of
them.

for example - the japanese answer to britney spears - Namie
Amuro. i'm in love!

there where actually much more great artists who had all
wicked names that i cannot remember.

japan has/had a fantastic death metal/grindcore scene and
great hardcore in the '80's.

i can remember that they mixed the techno-scene up a little
bit too...

weird that this music isn't popular in europe. i mean there
are many good songs that could be slammers in our own top
ten.

but i have never seen something japanese in the music-stores
:/

...and they've had absolutely incredible avant-garde music
and musique concrete for pretty much as long as any other
country.

don't know about their commercial pop music - that's not
really what i'm into, personally.

i have to say that besides that i don't understand a word
what they are singing, i like their commercial pop 10 times
more than our own

Mcdonald Saint Eclair are really cool and YMCK.
Check them the fuck out now they kick ass!!!

Fantastic plastic machine are pretty cool, very 1996-97 Jpop
stuff.

Mr.Children is like the best band name I have ever heard in
my life but the guy kind of sucks.
