while the sets look good, the teaser trailer was fucking obnoxious, i think it was a terrible choice to cast johnny depp, it's like he's doing ed wood as willie wonka, absolutely awful. imho... |

i have to say, even though i love it, the original is quite full of obnoxious wank. if it weren't for gene wilder, it would be completely intolerable. so i am very optimistic about the new one being at least as good as the old one. |

Hmmm, I'm never a big fan of the "Come explore a new world" "A fun thrill ride" "Like you never seen before". It really turns me off, narration destroys my desire to watch a movie. |

I was expecting him to act a lot more dark and despondent, but if the trailer is a perfect indication of how he's going to act the entire movie, then you are absolutely right. |
