yesterday night.... Just when i logged off the internet. I turned around from my desk. And saw this big thing flying in circles in my room, above my bed and furniture... I quickly realized it was a bat.
I freaked out and open my window as wide as i could. I switched all the lights on. And closed my bedroom with a curtain as there is no door to my room. Then i went on the balcony and waved the flash light at my bedroom window. I couldn't go back up there, i was too fucking freaked out by this thing. Bats bite if frightened, and they carry diseases.. .
Anyway... luckily... after half an hour of waving my flashlight around.
I saw the bat flying out the window... It seemed pretty happy.
And so was i. :P

i have a similar story. one night as i was going to bed, i heard a strange noise, it was really loud, but i was very tired and couldnt be arsed to get out of bed, turn on the light and find the source of the noise. then the next morning, i woke up and the noise was still there. i got up, and saw this huge bumble bee, it must have been the size of a ping pong ball, and it had been flying around my room all night. i opened a window and let it out. true story.

that would be scary. a bird flew right past me once and i cuaght it in my hand, but it freaked me out so much i couldnt hold on to it for more than 2 seconds.
then i was mountain biking once and a flying bug about 1 and a half inches long flew right into my mouth and almost down my throat. :(

sorry dude.... i was too busy trying to get out of there to leave the animal some space to figure the exit... didn't have the quick impulse of getting my camera... How silly of me.
Anyway... This is a true story. Couldn't sleep up 'till 5 in the morning last night thinking the thing was hiding some place.

I HATE spiders. Once I was sleeping and the first thing I see when I wake up is a spider slowly descending from the rafters right on top of my face. People thought I had been stabbed when I screamed.

*shudder* mosquitoes kill me. Seriously. In France, trying to get to sleep with this bzzzzzzzz. And you end up doing a sort of try and switch the light on fast enough to surprise the little git thing and then you never see it and you turn the light out again... bzzzz. ARGH. And it doesn't help that I seem to be the juiciest piece of flesh on the menu. I get eaten alive! Once in this taxi I was stuck with a mosquito and it wouldn't fly out the window. It's needle was at least an inch long. I just sat there tying to stare it down. Hell, I was I traumatised after half and hour of that.
As for catching something - I was out when I felt something moving on the front of my shirt. Instinctively I grabbed it and I opened my hand to find a huge bumblebee on my palm. It was there for about 5 seconds and I didn't get stung. Must be my way with animals. -.-
