i listened to a sample clip of Grim Dubs Volume 3 on boomkat.com earlier today very cool.
also found some full length mp3's on the labels site werk click where it
says "To open the player Click here"
GRIM_DUB_vol_4_Promo_[Werk_2007].mp3 is a fave.
hope you enjoy.. the style is kinda drum & bass / idm.
has anyone heard any of the other grim dubs or know if the artist/s have released similar stuff under another name?

I don't get this grime thing. they make it sound like its something new. it's just slowed down d&b.

this is a quote take from boomkat's write up for grim dubs vol 2.
"The irony is that the Werk possee may have started a whole new uberclass of next-level dancefloor productions, even if they were for all intents and purposes taking the piss out of our wanton need to give everything a name, title and pigeonhole."
i like the 2nd track on vol 2.
yeah.. that GRIM_DUB_vol_4_Promo_[Werk_2007].mp3 track is awesome isnieZot.
about 3 min in it kicks into a nice cruise mode.
i didn't quite know how to explain it.. nice breaks and kinda idm-ish scapes/synths.
