I thought "Toxic" was a wicked song.

Drop it Like it's Hot was probably better than any idm song
i've heard in the past 2 years... if not, pretty close...
but, well most pop music is still shite... but it's sort of
always been that way hasn't it? we're all just getting
older... and more crochety...

lol yes, every 80s song I hear has a nostalgic attachment
from my childhood. Timeless stuff.

I must say these past few years I think chart stuff is a lot
more bearable and 'adult'... lest we forget the days when
Steps et al roamed the charts! Neptunes & Timbaland have
changed it for the better IMO...

Oi you jester! Don't try and pass your teenage ass off as
something that grew up in the 80s!

i wanted ska to come back for ages, and now it seems like it
will. so keep your fingers crossed. (not ska-punk vodo
glowskulls less then jake stuff, like madness etc.)

that.

it's by Snoop Dogg... i'm tempted to say it's the rebirth of
the Neptunes, as they seem to have discovered the virtues of
minimalism, but then, it didn't work at all with the song
they did prior, Get Your Eagle On, because Nelly is a
fucking wanker, and he totally ruins it, and it doesn't work
on that new Gwen Stefani song Hollaback Girl because... well
i don't know why, that song just sucks basically... but
yeah, Drop it Like it's Hot is so fuckin' sexy... gorgeous
beats with the same sort of friction you'd expect from Jan
Jelinek...
