yeah i went to the homepage and it was all talking about
linux unix gnu and stuff and i was confused but the sconed
page was way more usfeul thx i got it

simply download and install ffdshow. it plays xvid
excellently aswell as many other mpeg4 based video
compressions.
let me know if it works.
