Bola-Gnayse

Bola's latest album is his best yet imo. It is more dark
and textured then the last one, and the cover art is as
stunning as ever.

What are your opinions of Gnayse?

Bit of a snooze except for Effanajor.

Yeah, I can see why you would say that. His sound hasn't
evolved that much, although I don't mind having a few albums
of similar sounding stuff when they are so good.

I miss the 70s prog rock tendencies of Soup. At times it got
tasteless and overblown like Jarre or Vangelis. Without that
special something it's not distinguished - vanilla IDM,
like.

What's wrong with Jarre and Vangelis? ;)

I still love listening to Oxygene, Equinox, anf Blade Runner
once in a while. I agree that both artists can get overly
bombastic, though.

I very much like the tastelessness and overblownness! Gnayse
seems too... discreet. Tasteful. Cautious.

i haven' really taken the effort to get into it, probably
just because i didn't like it immediately. my fav bola
release so far is 1.

imo:
1. soup
2. gnayse
3. fyuti

i really like gnayse, has a lot of classical music parts and
you can tell bola listens to classical music. the only track
i dont like, because it repeats ad nausium is effanajor,
sorry fleet

what he doesn't realise is that not everyones search feature
works.

as for the album, its good (like Soup), but i don't reckon
its excellent, where as Fyuti is.

"AIM screen name: Pen Expers". I thought you had it
according to your profile? It's a messanger thing like MSN.
