Based on the Coil/Cabaret Voltaire/Nurse with Wound and all that, I think you'd like Eyeless in Gaza, Tuxedomoon, Der Blutharsch, Rasthof Dachau, some other stuff. There's always ''some other stuff'', it's great. You have gewd taste in music.

Sorry, I was being mean (again). I was pleased to see Napalm Death in there, not saying they're obscure. Oh, who can I think of you need to hear....
you've got no Godflesh ("Pure"), no Jesus Lizard ("Head", "Goat"), no Jesus & Mary Chain ("Psycho Candy"), you haven't got "Isn't Anything" by My Bloody Valentine, Seam ("Headsparks")... oh this will never work.

i've got a track of Eyeless In Gaza i don't like that much (although of course one track is not enough to see the whole picture), now Tuxedomoon seems interesting... any particular album recommendation? (is Desire a good one? this one seems available easily)
i have some Primus tracks, haven't got any album yet but i quite like it.
i already have three Naked City albums and some other John Zorn projects (my favourite so far being Masada - Masada Strings and Electric Masada on the 50th Birthday celebration series are great by the way) : )
and i already have Young Team by Mogwai as well, good stuff.
Broadcast, i don't have anything by them but i liked what i've heard.
i pretty definitely am going to get something by the Stooges and the Melvins (i'm thinking Raw Power and Stoner Witch respectively), and i already downloaded In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson (i'll sure buy some things as well but i won't be able to afford everything)... Soundgarden doesn't seem half bad either, and Pavement, and Godflesh and a lot of others... don't like what i've heard of Interpol nor Bauhaus nor The Doors that much...
etc.

'In The Court Of The Crimson King' seems to be loved by many, but honestly, i don't think it's King Crimson's best album... i'd recommend 'Lark's Tongues In Aspic' or 'Red' instead :)
also, i really think you need to check out Lightning Bolt! a few LB tracks available for dl here plus, some live stuff

What Gaza song did you hear, out of curiousity? They're pretty eclectic so grant them an album worth of songs before you make up your mind. And it also depends on what album. Most of their stuff is post punk or some sort of dark jangle pop, with a REALLY ''80s'' vocalist. They have an album called ''Pale Hands I Loved So Well'' that gets rid of the drums and guitars and traditional song structures, it's awash in Goth and ambient synths. It's the good emo. Maybe you'd like that one, it's by FAR my favorite, but I like all their stuff a lot. The vocalist is an acquired taste though.
Tuxedomoon is one of my all-time favorites, and they're all over the map and super charismatic so recommending something feels uncool. My favorites are Half Mute and Desire, lots of lo-fi electronic elements, and they work a lot of jazzy and classical stuff into the mix. So yeah if you can get the latter, gopher it. They're pretty odd so I dunno how you'll like it, but you've heard weirder.
The guy that listed the Soft Machine is on to something. SM + Robert Wyatt's solo career is A++++ stuff.
