(yes I've heard it) that aside, once the voice comes in yes it does give the song a very uneasy and errie effect but without that (what, 5 seconds of voice) the whole song would be chirpy. |

i find that the whole 'chirpy' aspect of that song greatly emphasizes the uneasiness inbetween. It just hits you over the head. if i was to explain a mushroom trip to anyone, this song would describe it perfectly. here's something different: bitstream - palm 22. lots of vocals. |

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "haunting", but a lot of tracks on Seefeel's Quique album are sort of similar to Xtal. |
