about 9 years ago i turned up at leicester on a sunday afternoon only to find he'd fucked off thanks entirely to broken promises from the chairman, robert chase. he was there 4 months - i really thought we were goingh to to well under him. the hatred the fans already had for the chairmen increased 10 fold, all our players were sold only to be replaced with third rate rubbish whilst chase (fat bastard to his friends) lived in his huge house behind a huge wall that certain people thought may well need re-decorating :) i went to a home match and for the ENTIRE 90 minutes the barclay end chanted "chase out". at half time we all held up red cards as a more polite way of telling him to fuck off. he resigned after some fans blocked the entrance to his house with their cars. it's taken us 10 years to recover. i'd always hoped he'd come back. you never know, in 6 months we could be mid table, worthy gets the sack and o'neill feels it's time to make a comeback... :) |

I reckon he'll be back at Celtic at some point, once the saga with his wife is over. Wee Strachan seems to be a stop gap manager. I wish we went for Davie Moyes. Martin O'neill is a Celtic legend though. Greatest manager since Jock Stein at the club. Hail Hail! |
