i watched all of his fiery opening speech and subsequent
questioning by the americans on the bbc site. fucking
fantastic stuff. real venom in his words, really really
great performance.

stupid fucking yanks kept pushing him for "yes / no"
answers, when he wasn't avoiding answering questions, but
answering them articulately and slamming the panel at the
same time.

I don't really get it... I didn't follow him until the
election but I just got the general feeling from the media
that he's a cunt. Then I read a bit about him and whats
going on now, and it turns out he's a legend.

seems like ma decent chap to me........... if we got him and

Have you heard the secretly recorded tapes of him
threatening violence? Not a nice man at all. Also his
affected manner/cigar smoking fucks me right off. He is a
jumped up little twerp.

How've you heard of George Galloway in Italy? Is he
well-known there?

Can I hear those tapes on the internet? They sound
intriguing......

While political extremism is not my cup of tea, Im glad
theres someone like George as a raving leftie to counter the
raving righties of the Bush administration. And I did enjoy
the footage of him tearing into those senators.

Yeah its good that he's a renegade kinda figure, and a
'thorn in blair's side' as someone put a few weeks back, but
I think he has a rather dodgy side that's more down to his
personality than his political views :-/

Annoyingly I can't find anything on the web. I heard them
over a year ago on a radio 4 investigation into him after
the Telegraph accused him of not declaring the oil for food
money. It was a complete fluke I heard it but after hearing
them you got the idea that Galloway was a powerful man (in
his own delluded way) and that people shouldn;t fuck with
him or he'll get there asses kicked.

It seems odd giving him the platform to shout at senators
and come across as the good guy, because they clearly aren't
going anywhere with them accusations
