I would be surprised if he got it.

Well I'm really happy for the PS3, those graphics are going
to go great with my alien-dildo-boomerang-hand-syndrome!

but seriously though those graphics are insane, the only
reason I doubted it before is because I didn't want to get
my hopes up about it, but that is definately sweet.

Gosh gamers are a cynical bunch, hork hork.

I'm calling it now, the PS3 will pretty much match these
visuals (not the AI of course, that trailer is heavily
scripted and too perfect). I seem to remember people back in
2000 saying the MGS2 trailers just HAD to have had some
visual trickery, and the latter day PS2 games have already
far surpassed it. And anybody remember the initial Xbox
tech demos? Generally tech demos are a bit... optimistic.
But looking at those demos now, they look terrible, nowhere
near as good as Chaos Theory.

The numbers can be studied and analyzed and picked apart,
but the developers always find a way to do surprising things
on these systems. Even with the boasting, they seem to
almost UNDERESTIMATE the hardware. I think the 360 and PS3's
second generation of games will be very similar to that
Killzone trailer, minus the 3D motion blur and the fire
effects.

BTW, IMO the cell will be the real deal, easily refutable
technical studies be damned. Factor 5, who are pretty much
known as strictly tech guys (IE- pretty graphics-boring
gameplay) have already made the decision, after getting the
inside scoop on all the systems, to not develop for the
Xbox360 and are now PS3 only. Factor 5 know a bit more about
this stuff than we do. It also looks like Itagaki is going
to be putting out Team Ninja games on the PS3... and if you
know anything at all about Itagaki, you'd know what that
means. Very positive sign for the cell, very positive
indeed. That's a sexy man, that Itagaki.

Sony built their empire on good games (and business), not
good graphics, so everything is looking sweet on their end.
Microsoft is looking lean and mean too... waiting on
Revolution now.

No it's gamers! This board doesn't hold a candle to video
game boards in terms of venom and bile. This is the most
pleasant and civil Killzone 2 topic I've ever seen on any of
the internets.

hmm..

oh, Guerrilla, the Dutch company that makes Killzone, mailed
me back today - they use writers that are provided by the
publishers. BLOODY AMERICANS! taking away our jobs. :(

That sucks. But it makes sense, I don't think anybody other
than an American could have come up with the story and lines
in Killzone.

haha, how about QuakeIV? Here's to hoping that one's gonna
turbocharge on Doom3 with the token Amerikan atti-DUDE.

But yea, perhaps Killzone and stuff like Unreal is greater
than id-soft design, alas, at least in level design and (!!)
story.

(I just read this book, "Masters of Doom", about the Johns
Carmack and Romero. Recommended.)

Why don't you email the publisher?

I don't know about your writing skills but I do know that
your English is tremendous.

Or write a game if you have the skills and sell your story.
