Picked it up at luch and like it very much so far.
Can't wait to get it home to my astro-lounge and give it a
proper listen.

Isn't this easy listening for "daring" lawyers? Oh, I see.

What a bunch of bitter cunts you are!

Thievery Corporation has been around for a long time and I
have been listening to electronic music for almost 20 years.
Its good that they are finally seeing some commercial
success.

Just because sombody dragged you to a rave in highschool
shoved some E down your thoat does not make you an expert.
I'm sure your taste in music is so wonderfully obsure that
women just line up to sleep with you in exchange for a
glimpse of your Analord collection.

No... its just kind of well produced but boring chillout
music. I had a couple of their albums a few years back and
they were ok. But I thought they already had a bit of
commercial success a few years ago...

Like a reproduction print isn't art, aural wallpaper isn't
really music.

It is good aural wallpaper then.

There are some good tracks on that one. If you like that
kind of Latin-tinged downtempo you'll love Cibelle.
(click the green dots to hear samples - stupid web design)

"Aural Wallpaper" is exactly what some music should be.
That quality is what first attracted me to ambient and is
exactly how artists like Brian Eno approach their work.

pft listen to iandra and tomorrow.

i think it's nice stuff. wouldn't listen to it a lot, but
it's nice to chill to from time to time. it's background
music, but there's shit going on in it as well.

you don't have to be listening to manic drillcore
constantly..

i know you will probably laugh, but Vangelis` "Soil
Festivities" is the best chill for me

I just like music with a bit of an edge to it. I like a lot
of ambient music, but I don't really like the fluffy,
toothless stuff. This is why amon tobin makes better
downtempo stuff than practically anyone else in that game,
and the theverly corporation should stick to elevators and
hold lines.

I suspect you mention Amon Tobin because you know no
better... I like Thievery Corporation because of their
pop-y-ness. They'd be the radio portion of my ideal music
planet.
