qrter.. when pronouncing 'gmail' do you say "gay male"? When i was over in holland with some friends i found this quite amusing.. a bit startling at first when i didn't know what they were talking about however. |

no, I try to avoid saying "gmail" altogether. but, when I really have to, I say it the same as you, albeit through gritted teeth (aWITHa TEETHa). besides, gay is pronounced with a hard G, while the Dutch G is more guttural, it's more like the Scottish "ch" as in "loch". |
