Damn, I forgot about it.
It doesn't really matter anyway because AZ didn't qualify because of those stupid UEFA rules.

Uhm...
- 2 points for every goal for the away playing team. - After two games of 90 minutes the extra-/overtime will also count as an away match, which is ridiculous imo.
Officially it is not possible to count extra time in the overtime, the referee decided to give 2 extra minutes to the second half of the overtime which is against the rules.

yeah! i'm not a big football fan either, but after the Russians' recent football fiascos (especially that 1-7 defeat to Portugal last October) it's just great to see CSKA win! :)

a) . this rule I love, it makes it very hard to play away, and important not to get goals in your own door at home
b) I am almost sure that rule was being thought to dissapear, so that goals in the extra time didnt count as double

Well, it did count double in the extra time, because of that AZ lost.
My feelings towards football of nowadays have grown again, I still can't believe why they won't use video footage to punish a player after the match for something they did which the referee didn't notice in the first place. Or the other way around of course.
Plus, if a player act that the other player tackled him, they should give an yellow card after the match. This way football will be much more attractive to me.
I like fair play.

the best thing about football is how unfair it is
chelsea won barça due to an illegal goal (carvalho was holding the goalkeeper in his area when terry scored) and then chelsea was defeated by a doubtful goal by luis garcia
football is football

uefa rules are interesting, but i still think golden goal is the only way overtime situations are settled (hence, away goals shouldn't matter beyond this point)...

No football isn't football, I like they way how the English play the game and I don't like how the (most) southern Europe/America countries play the game.

Haha, no
The sneaky way of playing, screaming, show-off, asking for a card, rely on the counterattack and the acting.
I still remember very clearly when Marco van Basten (and others) went to AC Milan, his football career ended there because his ankles were attacked constantly.

a)- 2 points for every goal for the away playing team.
That's not even the rule. The rule is that in the event of a draw at the end of both legs, the team who scored the most goals away from home go through. You don't get 2 points or whatever for away goals.
If the match goes into extra time due to both teams scoring the same number of home and away goals then any away team goals count double only if both teams score an equal number of goals during extra time.
In the event of neither team scoring in extra time it goes to penalties.
