Are Creative products aimed at electrical engineers then? I have an Audigy 2 ZS and it is rubbish - it crashes all the time, the ASIO support is useless, the software is bloated and a complete waste of time, I seriously regret buying it.

you're probably right, and I've tried to use the Kx drivers, but if I uninstall the creative ones and reboot, windows won't load and I have to do a rollback. Also, as far as I can see the creative site doesn't have the actual drivers for this card, just a driver update, so I have to keep finding the CD every time I need to re-install (I realise this is my own stupid fault for not looking after the disc, but they should still have the drivers online)
