let me know what you think. this was made using ableton 4.0, standard plugins, nothing too fancy (obviously). also i don't have a midi controller so the melodic aspect of it is lacking. thx.. |

eh, 109 people signed up, 4 or 5 of us post every few days. there's not too much of an interest in idm/experimental stuff here. on the other hand, i've been given a room at a club on May 27th to book whoever i want (no money involved though), so at least that's happening. i've also linked up with a few more people that are trying to push things, so things are looking up in a general sort of way. ;] |

i see. so not much of life at that board. and you're not too often here, either. the track is not bad. not my thing really but i would definitely jump and hop about to this in a club situation. i've tried ableton last week, nothing exciting in it for me. the piano roll is quite poor. but i gave it too little attention maybe. |

the piano roll is pretty crappy, if we're using the same aspect. i really like that i can lay out all of my loops, modify them without affecting the original file. you can really do a lot once you get in there and start editing everything. i'll be posting newer stuff soon. yeah, i haven't been on xltronic much and i do miss it. unfortunately i don't have internet at home anymore and my job has been 'watching' our internet usage. =/ |

that's bad. well, recording and or/adding effects in live mode was quite exciting in ableton. it did sound very fresh. i might give this soft another try someday. |

it's ok. the effects trickery is cool and everything, but it's not enough to carry the track. like you said, it's lacking melody. if it had a nice melody and bassline it would be really good. |
