to be honest i dont remember ae's set at all really not cause of the dxm, but because i spent the whole time talking to this girl megan but i mean there wasnt a part where i was like THIS BLOWSSS also you have to realize for most of it i felt like i was gonna puke |

so i went to the show! got there a little late, maybe around 10:30 or so. i didn't see anybody i recognized though, maybe you guys were all upstairs or something. anyhow i got a good spot on the floor sort of on the right side of the stage with a good view, especially of rob hall's set, which was excellent! he played a set before SND (who i slept through pretty much) and after, and he opened his second set with an excellent song from arpanet (the third song on wireless internet, i can't remember the name) and proceeded to play excellent and interesting stuff! and there was more drexciya stuff in the first set but it is unidentifiable as of yet. i wish i could have somehow recorded the show because i'd listen to that stuff in my car. and i expected him to be boring! autechre played a good set, but about an hour in some sort of idm moshpit erupted in front of me and i had to go pretty much to the back of the floor and couldn't really see anything (hah, see them twiddling knobs or whatever, probably i didn't miss much). so that was kind of annoying i guess...dancing is one thing, but this was pretty obnoxious -- spilling beer everywhere, waving cigarettes around, etc. oh well, it was a good show all in all and i'm glad i went, especially in retrospect when my legs aren't so tired anymore! |

That show was amazing! I thought the mosh pit was great fun at the end there. haha. Topped it all off with Sean signing the AE shirt I was wearing and saying, "this is somewhat homosexual" HAHAHA hilarious.
