keep the violins nicely tucked in their cases and bring out
the godawful sounding synth strings is what I think when I
hear this album.

oh. so if his post was about this really great kitchen
appliance it wouldn't be about how it was about a kitchen
appliance. it'd just be about how whatever he was talking
about somehow involved a kitchen appliance, and that it was
the subject of the post, too. i see.

the understandment of my understanding has reached level 4,
thus upgrading me from an 'occasional understander' to a
'more-often-than-not understander'. i now get a +2 bonus
roll for intelligence checks.

i quite like royal astronomy.....the hwicci song, autumn
acid, the motorbike track and goodbye goodbye are all great
tunes. it's not synth strings either.......it's all samples
from the icelandic string octet that bjork played with on
homogenic....he sampled them all when he was spining for her
on a tour.

I absolutely hate the sounds on that album, so I don't know
what the hell he did to them then. they sound like the most
fake strings I've heard in a long time.
