all about us= syd barrett tries country music flavors and has been medicated until he's perhaps too stable... i'm just standing here= lou reed, looking for a piece of the action, i had to take it off and put on metal machine music... sometimes love = nick drake sorta vibe, it's not really something i'd really go for but i think you've got a naturally appealing voice and presence, despite the amateurish delivery and inprecise pitch.... the last one was my least favorite, not much to say. they're more sketches than songs, but surprisingly enjoyable. makes me think of mojave 3-type stuff... nice |
