Exam hell.

Anyone else suffering miserably from exam stress at the
moment? I know I am one of the younger ones here, but I'm
sure there are some fellow A level students preparing for
the exams soon.... ;-)

I am regretting spending the year pissing about making music
and taking strange substances. I'm not revising this stuff,
I'm learning half of it for the first time. Apart from
English; I normally just need to read a summary of the
literature at hand and that'll secure me a fairly decent
mark. Somehow.

Right now the most complicated choice I have to make every
day is what to whack to.

Im on academic probo for withdrawing from a program I
thought was shit.

Going back into the educational fray this Sept.

I've got my AS exams coming up. Haven't started revising
yet. Got my art starting tomorrow (8 hour exam spanning over
3 days) and my first sociology exam in a week.
I'm beginning to get stressed and I have also been wasting
the year making music and taking strange substances.
I also do English to which I hope to get atleast a B grade.
Overall though I don't care too much about my results. Just
as long as I get to stay on next year. That's when I'll
start trying.

Good Luck!

i have my german oral on tuesday. i spent today staring at
(through) my computer screen showing some german tv, ww2
commemoration stuff.. i have nobody to practise with. and
since it's an oral exam and not aural, errr.. wasn't the
best preparation.

i'm screwed.

also have to get through a whole phonetics, phonology and
syntax course. not to mention logic and maths. and prolog.
oh shitty.

Ah, thanks for sharing you three. I feel a bit better now.
;)

I just find it too difficult to sit down and actually study.
Nothing is more dull and depressing.

I have to write seven essays for my final year at uni. They
have to be in tommorow but I got an extension. I have to do
really well because I'm trying to get on to the masters
course.
Not much fun. Not much fun at all.

i'm finishing off my part-time marine biology course at the
moment. got to get good marks or i wont get into university
in september. i've go to do:

presentation on primitive fish for thursday.

how wave exposure affects nucella lapillus.

assignment on marine pollution.

got to get them done by the end of july at the latest.

at 28, i reckon that i'm too old for this studying shite.

i had a timed exam and said
"I refuse to do this if I'm being timed, the whole idea of
putting me under such pressure for a massive portion of my
grade is absurd."
so they didn't time me :D

Wow, perhaps I should try similar tactics.

I feel sorry for all those who need to do all that essay
work; there's nothing like the feeling of coursework that
needs to be done looming over every day you try and put it
off.

there is only one thing more annoying than 6th formers and
thats students. not students, but "students"
if you get me. they are annoying wacky pricks, who think
they're on holiday camp, at PGL or something, and think they
have a right to annoy the rest of society with their inane
antics, when really they're just a bunch of tosspots who
have lived too sheltered lives. 6th formers are not much
better. but at least they are contained.

woke up at 5.30 and i'm feeling 30% zombie... miserably
failed both exams today (not that i felt it was going to be

is fucked already)...

c'est la vie.

Heh.

Well I wasn't referring to you specifically, but the whole
distain and generalization of age groups really annoys me.

I know what you mean by "students". While many here would
consider me an idiot, the mindless, backward, ridiculous,
narrow-minded and obnoxious students I've had to spend time
with make me feel like a saint.

That's extremely prejudiced. There are obviously all
different manner of people who go to university. Surely it's
a lot worse to make sweeping criticisms of that sort. A
student might criticise you for not being educated. Which is
just a cuntish.

truth, most students are ordinary decent people who choose
an academic route to life; no problem with that, just as i
said earlier, dickhead students who live the cliché of
being a student
