The music on my new album is mostly 4/4 (with some cyclic stuff), simple melodies, analog sounds with the occaisional piano bit..

Orangedust is awesome! Glitch, you have to get Deep Registry and Whitford Chopping Center, and that asian sounding one, I forgot it's name.
Boards of Canada SUUUUUCK!!! Boring, deary, cheesy, sleepy, boring, dreary, same feeling you get when you're sick. Blegh, I hate it.

I got the same feeling about Boards of Canada, only I based my opinion on the 30 second sound samples at cdnow.com and then never pursued this band any further.

My god, phluidbox is excellent. It's a shame there's these terrific artists that nobody even knows about. The 2 songs I heard are better than Confield probably, this guy belongs on warp. (I'm not putting down autechre- they already made plenty of perfect albums and I can see them making more in the future. Confield wasn't ready yet, almost every song wasn't finished perfectly yet)
Are there anymore unknown and great artists you can think of. I have these suggestions:

Hmmm... my music is mainly ambient melody underneath filtered industrial beats --- a lot of AFX, NIN, Squarepusher influence - in a textural sense.
