Springymajig from New Zealand (www.mp3.com/aureus) on 2001-05-27 08:03 [#00007280]

Orangedust is awesome! Glitch, you have to get Deep Registry
and Whitford Chopping Center, and that asian sounding one, I
forgot it's name.

Boards of Canada SUUUUUCK!!! Boring, deary, cheesy, sleepy,
boring, dreary, same feeling you get when you're sick.
Blegh, I hate it.

Glitch from New Zealand on 2001-05-27 08:33 [#00007283]

Phluidbox is really good, he has stuff on mp3.com but is
signed (I think ?) to spark records, listen to his stuff at

www.mp3.com/phluidbox

M on 2001-05-27 09:29 [#00007290]

I got the same feeling about Boards of Canada, only I based
my opinion on the 30 second sound samples at cdnow.com and
then never pursued this band any further.

M on 2001-05-27 09:43 [#00007291]

My god, phluidbox is excellent. It's a shame there's these
terrific artists that nobody even knows about. The 2 songs I
heard are better than Confield probably, this guy belongs on
warp. (I'm not putting down autechre- they already made
plenty of perfect albums and I can see them making more in
the future. Confield wasn't ready yet, almost every song
wasn't finished perfectly yet)

Are there anymore unknown and great artists you can think
of. I have these suggestions:
www.mp3.com/chulk
www.mp3.com/imaginary
www.mp3.com/tendrils
www.mp3.com/idlab

Organ Grinder from u.s. on 2001-05-27 19:28 [#00007312]

Hmmm... my music is mainly ambient melody underneath
filtered industrial beats --- a lot of AFX, NIN,
Squarepusher influence - in a textural sense.

rob fragilenine from laughable butane bobs house on 2001-05-28 04:12 [#00007341]

band names:
fragilenine (industrial),
negative alpha index (idm, electronica), total harmonic
distortion (breakbeat, jazzy hiphop beats),
e-scape (hard dance),
dead human battery (metal/industrial).

Influences: fear factory, NIN, AFX, sonic animation, pop
music (for being so shit), ministry, gravity kills, prodigy
(early stuff), squarepusher, orbital, daft punk, serial
rate, fatboy slim.

Similarities:

fragilenine: nine inch nails, ministry, gravity kills.

negative alpha index [-a]: AFX (AB series, SAW85-92, SAWII,
RDJ album, CTD, WL), prodigy.

THD: fatboy slim, sonic animation.

e-scape: sonic animation, prodigy.

DHB: fear factory, slipknot (a bit).

Has anyone noticed that Powerpill Pacman sounds quite close
to Prodigy's first album???

cause I like it when people think my cartoon
drawings/artwork is good. I've been getting that alot
lately.

your tracks, you sounds very original, and that seems what
Spark is going for with their artists.
