i second many reccomendations in this thread. heres my
list:
mf doom, dose one, clouddead, busdriver, saul williams,
spearhead, tribe..., aesop rock, the streets, outkast.

also, id consider the new beck album to be more hip hop than

speakerboxxx is probably in my opinion the most
underappreciated album of last year. well maybe not, but
while everyone was all about andre 3000 going off in some
new direction he probably wont follow, big boi released some
of the most southernplayalisticcadillacfunkymusic in the
past decade.
