What does everyone think of these guys???

This is going to sound like a put down to them but its not.
When i am having trouble writing music i can listen to
double figure and be like, oh yeah thats how it works! They
make the most simple yet catchy beats and melodies, it just
works very well.

Another reason i like them so much is because they KEEP IT
REAL. Fug the drill n bass they say. Stick with the
basics, make some tunes.

One of the greatest IDM ever made, really! All old Black Dog
(Plaid + Ken Downie)recording are rare essensials. I
remember this music was touching my soul sooooooo deep in
the early '90s.

That's right, but Black dog was first. The trio had already
releases three ep's on their own label: Black dog
Productions. The fourth and last releases on that label was
the first Plaid mini-LP Mbuki Mvuki.
