if the world was full of *only* people from this message
board, then any artists that are not on this board (afx, ae,
sqp...) would not exist out there because they are not in
here...but wait, this board exists soley to worship these
people, if they didnt exist, neither would we! the world
would be empty, like after a nuclear war, the only survivers
would be global goon and a few trolls who come to this board
even though they dont like electronic music...

*pictures global goon living cave, bashing trolls with a big
stick, fighting over scraps of food*

Actually all the artists plus more that you mentioned are
members of this board...how active they are is a different
matter.

And there's talk of them counting towards the official sales
chart (as downloads now do) too.

So, we can expect 30 second tracks becoming commonplace. The
second coming of punk, perhaps?

Deepspace. Sadly, yes, I heard that too. What sort of freak
pays for pictures/ringtones for their phone, rather than
just DLing them from their PC?

It would be a world where you'd have to fit a strict set of
criteria to be considered worthy, ie-immense cynicism and an
ability to show as little passion or excitement about
anything as possible.

It would be fun.

There's a stick, take a good look at it. Notice how you've
got the wrong end of it.

it would be a strange world somehow. especially if we looked
like our avatars.

though the "real" world we live in is strange already.

I thought dogs played with sticks, not people?

just saw Mulholland Drive, i liked it a lot and/but it was
way creepy and somehow almost nausea-inducing...

what's another good one from him?

I think it'd be more like an ill-made, awkward, late period
Wim Wenders film.

How can anyone reach the age of five and not know the entire
filmography of David Lynch? All his films are good. If you
like one, you'll like them all.

I'm an Eraserhead fan myself, becuase I'm artsy,
pretentious, and into that spooky industrial vibe.

Definitely Eraserhead :) My favorite of his is Blue Velvet.
Also check out Elephant Man. Twin Peaks is okay and so is
Wild at Heart (but I dont really like the latter).

Would there be pancakes? Would we have that technology? I
mean, after all the stores are depleted. Who will invent
them again?
