it's a great track. Love the drums, they are nice drums and
they are good and complicated.

I like Ipacial Section even more though .

ipacial is a piece of shit because of the fucking
beginning.. god damn that sounds retarded

oh yeah and complicated =/= good. for instance, go to a big
junkyard; that's 'complicated'

cuntsickles!!!

offline CS2x from London (United Kingdom) on 2005-04-27 16:19 [#01578010]

What's wrong with the beginning? I like those crazy high
springy sounds.

in the middle, when it gets all fucked up-that's like,
really good.

I guess how unrelated they are is supposed to be sorta neat
(since things fuse later) but god damn it's torture.

they start a few of the tracks with really gay/annoying
timbres and rhythms.. ah well

and hence 'complicated' you can't just package it in the
term 'random' and say it's no longer complicated. you suck

Ipacial Section makes me feel horney and happy when played
very loud because it has addictive sounds and headfucking
drumbeats and a nice smart structure. End.

It is their way of planting a triumphant pennant in the
vanquished skull of gayness.

ahahahaaha

as you can see I rather enjoy the release. It's not the
best thing ever, but, for me at least, it's more listenable
than confield and draft. no final conclusions yet. I
picked up drukqs and envane at the same time so it's not
getting much attention..

Ipacial Section ends well but I have to agree.. the
beginning is too campy for Autechre standards. It sounds
more like Mouse on Mars.. and makes me anything but
'horney'.

Augmatic Disport is the real crown jewel here. Gorgeous!

Iera is very dark and good. Either this or Augmatic Disport
are my favorite tracks at the moment. The part in Augmatic
Disport where the noises are repeatedly sucked up and spit
out over those harmonies

I agree that the beginning of Ipacial Section doesn't sit
well with me. It sounds like marimba/carribean island music
or something. I like the part where it first squares up for
a little bit with the echoey rimshots. And the very end
where the voice builds into a melody.

I like bits of Augamatic Disport, although towards the
middle it becomes a bit of an effort to listen to with all
the drum fuckery.

The ending saves the day, though.

That's going to be my new default review for every track I
listen to by an xltronic... "artist"... I'll just replace
"ipacial section" with the title of their track.

get a mod to check the IP adresses for me and cx. We're not
the same.

Although if I were to be thought of in the same way as him,
I would be greatly honoured, as he was a
legend--intelligent, witty, informative, and self-reserved.

this whole album is some sick glitch and high bpm drum
noodling. i didn't look close enough today until i realized
it's called untilted and not untitled. the whole album is up
to par for me. i like LCC alot.
