I was listening to John Peel some years back and he played a track, which I think, was called 'The Gathering of the Clans' by Boards of Canada. It had a sample of some of the music from the film Braveheart. This sounds unlikely so was it a BOC induced dream (I was dropping off to sleep at the time) or does someone know what i'm on about?

There is a song called that on Braveheart (check out audiogalaxy), but I'm quite sure it's not BOC

Cheers folks
It was probably some bootleg/remix thingy of that track off of the soundtrack. I can't imagine John Peel playing anything from the soundtrack

Yeah. Didn't he do Titanic? The film was so shite I didn't pay any attention to the music. I keep meaning to check out some more soundtrack music.

There was a John Peel Session archive site...but the URL escapes me at the moment. BoC has only done one Peel session.
