Did anyone watch horizon last night ?
Apparantly maths can prove an infinite number of universes exist, in at least one of those universes my shlenk is 12 inches in length, hence I am happy.

Yeah, that was one mind fuck of a program...we're all sitting on a membrane, one of many....and the explantion of the Big Bang (and before...)..was supurb..(i.e. even I understood it...)..
but Couldn't thinking they were making it up as they went along tho in some bits...
And I had a good laugh at the sheer literal nature of some of the scenes; like as soon as anyone mentioned String Theory they'd show a picture of someone playing the cello or violin...I mean, come on guys; use your imagination a bit....
Used to love Horizon but seems to getting a bit too "Discovery Channel" for my liking...
The program about the rift between the members of BUCKS FIZZ afterwards was pure quality viewing tho... that & the Jon Ronson film about Jonathan King have been my hightlights of the week on TV....

Yeah, Horizon has been dumbed down the past few years. Still a god watch though. I wish they'd put paper references/URLs up in the credits so you could check out the authenticity of some of its more radical claims.

the parallel universes don't get me surprised anymore: i always think of that as sort of a comfort when i've haven't done something i should have: i just think: well in this cool universe i did everything perfect and i'm getting laid now

what then? i heard about this serie sliders from some nerdy friend of mine, which should be about these people sliding into these parallel universes, quite like quantum leap yes, only without the past being mangled with, anyways: this proves the existence of parallel universes

Now, it was about how our Universe is layered, and on a certain angle some how, with enough speed and the right angle timing you can punch through the time barrier.. or rather universe barrier and arrive in the next alternate universe.
Although the speed needed is {well speed speculated to be needed} far beyond the speed of light.. so uh.........

I suppose if we visualise our universe travelling through a space with other bubble, the space being time itself (time being non existence time is space / the nothingness between the universes is the time. Or is the time the speed at which the bubble is travelling through the nothing, so if we travel faster than the speed of the bubble we will eventually reach the edge of the bubble and pass into another bubble. What happens if we land in a bubble that is not travelling as fast as ours and we are travelling faster than the speed of the light.
God may be standing in the middle of the dance floor at gatecrasher night club blowing these little univereses from the end of a bubble gun.

Theoretically it is possible to be your own dad:
1. Get egg and remove dna
2. use dna to make another egg start to produce
3. make sure second egg grows before first egg
4. whence fully developed you could be older than your dad and also be the same person
Vicar - Do you wizards teeth, take wizards teeth to be your lawfully wedded husband?
Wizards Teeth - I cannot vicar as I am also my father
Vicar - You may now kiss the bride
Wizards Teeth - I am unable to as these lips belong to myself, my dad (who is also me), that bloke off the telly.
Vicar - Who pays the television liscence ?
Wizards Teeth - We don't have a tv as I (both of us) and my mother who is also the same person do not have any eyes, hence we do not require televisual stimulation. That is another reason why I married myself who is infact my mother an father, I did not realise I was in a empty large bathroom when conversing. Little did I know but I was having a conversation with my echo, and arranged to meet in the same place a few times, then foolishly proposed.
I think

Yeah I watched Horizon last night. It made perfect sense really. Time goes slowly in work and in hospitals but fast when you wake up in the morning. Thank you Horizon. Ive got the perfect excuse for being late "Im late because there was a storm in the 11th dimension so time flowed faster than I could compensate for" :)

I read a book on hyperspace theory. It was a really good read and explained things very well.
I didnt see that one, but a mate told me that the found that string theory was incorrect, meaning that another huge book i read was for nothing. Good read though.

A bit off the point but... I read this book last year called "The Age of Spiritual Machines" Its about, well, life the universe and everything. It was a real "yes, the house is burning but Ive got to finish this chapter" sort of book. Even a numpty like me could read it!

Yeah, it's good more people are being exposed to the ides of infinity. What exactly was said about the big bang? Imagine this: everytime you have an oragasm you are reliving the creation of our universe. Creation of the universe... creation of a new human life... It's all very obvious. I think every emotion we go through is archetypal and has happened on a larger scale at some point and that is why these things are not unique to the person, but we share similar experiences.

Darth...they af that HyperSpace guy on the prog..He's semi-orinetal but can't recall this name...
But I've read that book and it's pretty cool....and from the program last night it would appear that String Theory is far from dead & is a major part of the new ones...
So not wasted....
