when i run a RAM test i'm getting 100s of errors. any games
i play go wrong after 5-10 minutes, and and vcds i encode
lock up.

the RAM errors are suspicious becuase they are only on test
7 (random testing) which possibly suggests some kind of
timing error rather than RAM failure. also, i'm getting
errors on both DIMMs which is co-incidental. what's worse,
someimes if irun a teat i get no errors at all, other times
can run into 1000s.

i've checked for viruses, i've reformatted the HD, i've
checked bios settings, and i've installed the lastest
motherboard & graphics drivers.

any help appreciated, thanks.

if it's not the ram, then it's probably the motherboard..
