here's another huzzah for an unsung artist, his last album
("an accidental memory in the case of death") was entirely
satie influenced solo piano (highly recommended if you like
those sweet/sad melodies with little twinges of
dischord)...

the new album "talk among the trees" is instrumental,
ambient, reminescent of the droning melodic elements in
mbv/tim hecker/fennesz but softer... there's been a million
records made like that i suppose but this one is especially
good.

his work really stands out from the crowded field, have a
taste...

anyone else heard the new album?

I've heard Lambent Material and Talk Amongst the
Trees, I think. Nice and kind of boring.

"lambent material" i've only heard one track. one man's
boring is another man's riveting. it would be nice, too, if
you would admit that your post is also kind of boring...

Lambent Material is awesome, it takes me under the sea. I
still haven't listened to the new one more than once or
twice, and I can't judge it yet because this stuff is ''kind
of boring'' by design. I have heard it was good from cool
people like you so maybe I should dew it.

darius, i was just kidding. boring is boring. maybe it's
not your cup of tea.

the rest of you, thanks for sharing the story of your
lives...being concerned that strangers think they're cooler
than you, and then posting anonymously from thousands of
miles away a withering, sarcastic remark just to let them
know that you've got their number...
