Just thinking now, about the Analords, and things about
Acid and what not... This was my first Acid 12", one sided
(apart from a bit of vocal snippet on the other side), and
it sounded like it was from another world. It sounded like
Dimensionally Altering Drugs in Music form. Time became
liquid. THAT's ACID. I wouldn't experience anything like
that again until Hardfloor's Tranceperience. And, perversly,
maybe RDJs Remix of Ford's Flowers. But I'm not sure I'm
getting it with Analord. And I think I should. Why Dickie?
Come on man. You've still got a few Anals left, pull out the
stops, make my Brain Dance, I COMMAND THEE.

in fact, Ricky Dicky James would have to be a complete
BASTARD to ignore this deeply felt missive.

I've got a good feeling about this, Dickie my MSN is wide
open if you want a few pointers on what makes a a good track
a GREAT track.

All the best,
Your biggest fan.

That's the one. And some bloke borrowed it off of me for...
about 5 years, and it's only when another friend of mine
moved into the same flat as him, I got him to steal it back
for me. It used to be great fun lining up the inner label
with the outer sleeve, nice attention to detail.

the chart show "paid" to make a video for it because they
thought it was so good!

i wish it could be 1988 everyday...

Fuck, that's where I first heard / saw it! Bloody hell (said
like Marsha in Spaced)... I remember "Children of the
Revolution" on the Chart Show too. The Chart Show, release
them all on DVD, even the Euro Charts.

they showed a "rough cut" of children of the revolution
(i.e. a 30 second clip) at the end of one week so you knew
they'd be showing the full video the week after

::pause::

::eject::

I forgot about that, the little previews. God, it was so
simple, yet one of THE BEST MUSIC PROGRAMMES EVER. So many
classic moments... just reading up now I forgot also about
that row with the Musicians Union over videos which
scuppered it. Heady days.
