katamari damaci! is g ao ood f

I got the game for ps2 and it is very very excellent. The
begining and ending cutscenes are slightly like those flash
animations made by that insane person who uses peewee herman
and "it's princess lea, the yodel of life"e tc aetc aeetc.
lyrics. Games really need simplicity like this. I almost
wish the default controllers for modern consoles only had 2
buttons like the original nes to force simplistic control.
The sense of scale is fantastic. You just roll a ball around
getting bigger and bigger, and I suppose it can be as
challenging as you want it to be since you can always try to
top your size record. But it's more toylike than typical
game/challengelike. It's fun.

God of War- I got this game too. It did not meet my
expectations. As a whole experience, it has some problems
and feels like a restricted complicated mess. But still it
is very worth the experience of playing it once. The first
time I played through, I chose normal difficulty. Then when
you die, it flashes a "restart or quit" option which you
usually just bypass to restart as quick as possible. Well if
you die too much a "do you want to change to 'easy'" comes
up instead and you're so use to quickly bypassing the other
option, you accidently click yes, then there's no way back
to normal. So I played through the whole game in easy which
was fairly dreadful in parts, almost entirely due to the
puzzles (also the monsters are irritating/not challenging in
easy). The puzzles suck. Twice I did a puzzle 'right', but
it didn't trigger the next game action for some reason. So I
tried thinking about different ways to do it forever when I
only had to redo what I already did.. It sounds cool going
to a palace on the back of a titan, but you don't climb the
titan or anything, you just end up in the palace. And this
palace is like 85 % of the game where all the shitty puzzles
are. Luckily god mod (hardest difficulty) was unlocked by
beating it on easy. This mode is much harder enemywise and
the puzzles are the same. They are not irritating the second
time around since it's known what to do. Often when
fighting, you do the same death animation to a type of enemy
like 20 times in a row. A stupid thing is that all
cliffs/edges have invisible walls which feels restricting.
But god mode is quite fun so far. You sort of have to use
strategy when fighting differeing enemies at once, though
there are places to easily cheat, like tracking back to a
save point again and again or invisible walls that enemies
can't cross so you just kill them from behind them. It's not
doom2esque free complex fighting. You just somewhat linearly
fight monsters in a row.

time splitters 2- this game is like a bite size first person
shooter, fairly fun, but the main flaw is you sometimes
wander way too much figuring out where to go. The characters
look somewhat lame and cartoony. The cutscenes suck. The
game is pretty fun.. it's by makers of goldeneye but even
though it's ps2 feels like a bite size goldeneye. It doesn't
even look much better graphically and it's not as fun. Not
very hard and enemies are stupid. You can just wait behind a
wall for them to chase you and kill them. Hard mode might be
better.

i had time splitters 1 - the worst (single player) game on
ps2 ever...

oh and i played killzone - i like that game really. i mean i
could even say i love it. but sometimes it was so fucking
annoying...

the ai is pure shite - i really would want to go through the
game without my acp's then looking how they stand still
while the enemies are all shooting at me...

Thanks Q for clearing that up MR giant. If you buy a used
game you can always resell it for pretty much the same
price. This is what I've been doing lately. This allows you
to buy and play any game even expensive rare ones like
megaman x3, though I havn't gotten that yet. Many people
just use emulators I guess.

I'm only interested in 1 player games. reviews said
timesplitters 2 greatly improved the 1player game over ts1.

I do not live on a planet either. You humans have such a
limited concept of reality. I must go now. It has been the
best experience of my life chatting with you about these
important matters! May the force be with you.
