For Croation artist Plaster's first release on Archipel, we present two steamy dub influenced minimal jams and two equally deep remixes from Butane and Leander Kruese. With Conspiracy Part 1, Plaster takes us into a humid space full of shuddering hisses and stabs and a deep dub bassline which just makes it all the more deeper and steamier. Conspiracy Part 2 is just as steamy and fueled by a deep throbbing kick surrounded with wet crackles and pops. The silver lining to this cloud is the deep hypnotic stab which drags the mind out far into the distance. Butane's remix of Conspiracy Part 01 is a dancier but still very dub influenced and spacey journey through the cracks and crevices of the original. And lastly, Leander Kruese's remix of Conspiracy Part 02 draws on the far out stabs of the original and is just as dubby. With this release, Plaster and co. will take you on a journey of unexplored depths in an ocean of vibrating and energetic sounds. |

Yeah, you told us about it when the Assignement 1 "came out". Some brilliant stuff on there. The Conspiracy tracks are really good, nice deep Basic Channel/Maurizio styled grooves with a little bit of Consumed thrown in for good measure. The 909style hihat on o1 was really nice and crisp, methinks. Good shit, mate. |

I like how minimal tracks 1-2 were. There was less going on in these as compaired to the remixes. I liked that as i really like minimal material. I wish i was able to listen to this on a different system though as i am stuck on this generic set up. I like the sounds chosen and the rhythm of the happenings in track one alot. The remixes are very well done and have a faster and more dancy/clubish appeal IMO. Not a bad thing. I think that everything works real well together and as a whole the album is great! Thanks very much for sharing! |

oh and maybe it's just me, but when i downloaded the zip, the mp3s wouldn't play in windows media player. when i downloaded the tracks individually, they worked fine in wmp. not sure what that was about. i think the zip was fine though, because it unzipped correctly. usually when a zip is corrupt (due to a bad download or whatever) it won't unzip. |

Not the same problem, but iTunes on my mac told me the 3 first tunes where 32kbps and 30+mins long. I reencoded the files, and thus fixed it. No playback problems, before or after. It has happened before on one of the zip packages, can't remember which. |
