Anyone else love this?

I just got it recently, and I'm loving it to death!

This guy has a serious ear and talent for melodies and song
structure. I'll be sure to check out some of his other
stuff...

Tracks 8 and 9 are bliss! ;)

I like the "Boy and the Tree" or whatever it's called
better. But yeah, this is a great album as well.

Some of his stuff is real shit, though.

Listening to Tobiume (track 2) right now.........

Short, sweet and simple, melancholy in a way :'(

...................but in a good way.

Great album and artist.

yeah, definitely one of better albums ever..in general. and
among 10 best ambient albums of all times imo. he got me
interested into hardcore electronica fan with this album. my
fav song being kodomotachi, pure briliance!

"he got me
interested into hardcore electronica fan with this album."

:)
i wanted to put that different;it was through this album
that i got really interested into electronic music. i'd
always listen to it but never put as much attention on it as
after i heard this album.

I only listened to Susumu Yokota because of a recommendation
you made................. thanks for that :)

now playing: Kodomotachi again, it's got a bitter sweet
feeling to it , very emotional for me, or more accurately,
emotive.

or at least i used to have it :) im more into abstract stuff
lately, but i still love sakura and most other music i loved
in the past.
i would highly reccomend you new biosphere (the one with 11
tracks) album called dropsonde if you haven't heard it yet.
it's much more ambient but gorgeous! there seem to not be
much of a change compared to his older stuff, but after you
hear it a couple of times, and give it a proper listen you
discover it's much more subtle and beautiful!

i've heard the vinyl version, and i like it a lot..........
more laid back and subtle than the earlier albums I have
heard, but wonderful.

Is the CD version better again? i'll have to get it.

oh yeah, i've had vinyl since november i think, but cd
version's got 5 more tracks )more than 30 additional
minutes) and most (if not all) new tracks are strictly
ambient, without any beats. and probably most beautiful
ambient i ever heard of this sort. it's a must get! i had
difficulties finding it on slsk but have finally managed
yesterday, and the cd isn't out until february i think.
